Get Involved

get involved

Now that I am a member of the Lakeway City Council I want You to know how important it is to make sure You get involved, vent with solutions and make a difference!

You may have concerns regarding the growth which is affecting traffic, water, business staffing, and safety but you cannot make change happen from the sidelines!

Start by attending the Lakeway City Council meetings every Third Monday of each month at the Lakeway City Hall beginning at 6:30pm. There is an option to bring to light anything you have concerns about that you want the City Council to address. Please come prepared and here’s how.

In order to have a say, you must:

1) Educate yourself on how processes work. For example if you want a traffic light at a certain location find out how the process works. Find out who you need to talk to and what’s required for the change to happen. If you need  a start on where to get this kind of information please contact me and I will see what I can do to help.

2) Form a committee of other concerned citizens and delegate functions so you don’t have to do all the leg work yourself.

3) Mobilize as a group with solid information in your hands when presenting to the Council.

That is how you will Make A Difference and see Change for the better in the Community!

Workshops of interest:

Urban Deer Workshop to educate yourself on how communities deal with deer management.
